Breeding Champions

We have hand selected a handful of mares to cross on our stallions to produce sensible and sound horses with the athletic ability to excel in the rodeo or performance arena. We offer well handled weanling and yearling prospects who are up to date on all health matters, and started colts with solid foundations who are ready for any direction.

MOUNTAIN HORSES

Not only do we breed horses to sell, we breed horses to use. Our mountain horses go into some of the most rugged terrain, they have to be tough, sound, and strong enough to pack a load. We train and handle all of our own horses from day one, sensibility and trainability are a vital quality. We don't keep mares who produce otherwise. All of our colts are cared for as if they are tomorrow's world champion. Mare care begins at conception and health maintenance is a top priority for optimal development.

Rare Eyed Peppy -"Guy"

This 2021 colt is an outstanding prospect. I’ll never claim a colt is bomb proof but he has that trait. With 60 days he’s got a solid foundation, has been used for light ranch work (including miles, tight bush and tough terrain), has been taken to town, and has been introduced to barrel drills and working a flag. He is bred for speed but has a quiet, go to work attitude. I hate to label him as a barrel prospect because he is a candidate for so many careers. He has a huge desire to put his butt in the ground, he is cowy, he is correct, and he has a fantastic mind.

"Peanut"

This is a high caliber colt. Grandson of Judge Cash, g. grandson of Sunfrost and Rare Bar! He is lightly stated with a handful of rides. He is quiet to handle, has great ground manners, and has some fuel in the tank. He is gifted with natural athleticism, and is a flawless movers. He has been bathed, hauled, has spent time in a stall and has had outside miles.
